Purchasing Chamber Bucks ensures that money is spent locally at member businesses and helps build the area economy. This is also an opportunity to give the recipient the ability to purchase exactly what they want or may need.

•  Payment is due at time of pick up, cash or check is accepted.

•  Each Chamber Buck will come with a blank “Pay To Order Of” line. This line is for the consumer to write in the name of the member business at the time of a purchase.

---  Do not write the name of the recipient on the “Pay To Order Of” line. The “Memo Line” in the bottom left corner can be used to enter the recipient’s name if you want to indicate it.

A— AVAILABILITY: Chamber Bucks are available in any increments.

B—BLANK: The “Pay To” line is purposely left blank and is to be left blank until those recipients of the Chamber Bucks wish to spend them at a business. At that time they fill in the business or store name.

C— CASH FOR CHANGE: There is an even exchange of monies – the Chamber adds no service charge to the process. And since it’s an even exchange, you must give change to the customer in cash. Example: A customer buys a $45 item with a $50 Chamber Buck—you will give them $5 cash for change. There is only a $5 cash back limit.

D—DEPOSIT DIRECTLY: These Chamber Bucks are actual checks: bar coded, numbered and containing the Chamber logo. Businesses receiving them can treat them as a regular check and deposit them directly into their accounts, instead of having to come to the Chamber for reimbursement.
